Meet the Farmer and the Pharmacy Student

Born to Pharm: The Born to Pharm title stems from our current professions. Adam is a farmer, and Melissa is a pharmacy student working toward her Pharm.D. degree. Adam is a fourth generation farmer, he works with his father and grandfather farming approximately 2,500 acres of corn, soybeans, and hay ground. They also have a commercial cattle operation of 150 Angus and Angus-Cross cows. Melissa grew up a farmer’s daughter, and as a result of this, a passion for agriculture was instilled in her at an early age. She attended Kansas State University where she majored in Agricultural Economics and minored in Feed Science and Management. Melissa is currently in her last year of pharmacy school.
